Team Advocates for Animal-Free Science at Lush Parliamentary Reception

On Wednesday evening, our dedicated team: Carla Owen (CEO of Animal Free Research UK), Isobel Martin (Director of Public Affairs), Aaron (Public Affairs Manager) and Gemma Davies (Senior Science Communications Officer), joined forces with Dr Adrian Biddle and our newest trainee research technician, Josh Abram, at the Lush parliamentary reception.

This event provided a fantastic opportunity to champion animal-free research and strengthen relationships with policymakers. Throughout the evening, the team engaged in meaningful conversations with nine MPs and parliamentary staffers, sharing our vision for a future where animals and humans lead healthy, happy lives, free from suffering. Several MPs expressed strong interest in supporting our mission, requesting to be added to the Herbie’s Law supporter list and committing to future meetings.

These conversations mark an important step forward in building parliamentary momentum for Herbie’s Law and accelerating the transition to animal-free research!
