Helpathon

In October, London provided the venue for the very first animal free innovation Helpathon in the UK.

This pioneering UK Helpathon represents the first step towards the goal of a network of international Helpathons under one umbrella. This would connect collaborators and ideas to each other, helping to create a world where human diseases are cured faster without animal suffering.

Watch the video below to see highlights from this fantastic event.

Objective: To find the best human models to resolve inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis and bacterial infections

We are hosting the first animal free innovation Helpathon in the UK. We are looking for inflammation researchers, NAMs experts, data analysts, policy makers, funders, clinicians, patients and students.

Can you help Jesmond and Duco identify animal free research methods to discover novel drug targets for resolving inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis and bacterial infections?

Whilst helping them find animal free research methods for these related yet different diseases, we hope to sketch out together the contours for a roadmap towards animal free innovation in the UK.
