We’re delighted to announce we’ll be opening our next grant call on 3 June 2019.

Animal Free Research UK will be awarding a range of grants to fund scientists to develop cutting edge human-relevant research methods for human disease, removing animals from experiments.

Alex Mayer, MEP for the East of England said, “I’m encouraging researchers across the East of England to apply for funding to carry out life-saving research into human diseases without the use of animals.  Please save the date now!”

Dr Hazel Jackson, Science Director said, “We’re excited to be again offering grants for innovative animal free research. Continuing the brilliant work Animal Free Research UK has been funding for the last 50 years, we’re now supporting researchers to develop novel human-relevant models for understanding and treating human diseases.”

Animal Free Research UK is working to create a world where human diseases are cured faster without animal suffering.
