Introducing Animal Free Research UK’s newest initiative: The Centre for Human Specific Research, paving the way to a brighter future where innovation puts people – and animals – first! 

We’ll be working closely with scientists from universities, industry and pharmaceutical companies to provide them with the tools and support they need to replace animal experiments with reliable and efficient human-specific methods. But we’re not stopping there – by working with policymakers we’re also pushing for changes in laws and regulations to make lasting progress. 

The Centre will offer hands-on support for researchers at every stage of their journey – from PhD students and early career scientists to seasoned research leaders, helping everyone to make the switch to smarter, kinder science.   

The Centre for Human Specific Research is more than an initiative. It’s a movement towards ethical science.
